Do Aur Do Pyaar: Actress Vidya Balan Owns An ASHTONISHING Number Of Sarees | DETAILS INSIDE

We have Bollywood stars, and then we have Vidya Balan! The National Award-winning actress, who is known for possessing a strong sense of self and fiercely protecting her individuality, recently opened up about her wardrobe, especially her collection of sarees. But, the answer she gave left everyone shocked.

During a recent interview with a YouTube channel of repute, Vidya was asked about the number of sarees she owns. The Kahaani actress then revealed that her collection of sarees is 'not at all huge'. Calling herself a 'minimalist', Vidya Balan explained, "It’s not at all huge as compared to most other women, and definitely other actors. But I am a minimalist, I have to say that. I don’t possess too many things,” she said, and added, “Everyone keeps asking me how many sarees do I have because I wear a lot of sarees. I have 25 sarees."

Vidya also went on to add that she likes to 'give away' her sarees to other people. "I keep giving away sarees. Because what will I do holding on to them? I don’t get a chance to repeat my sarees so the one I have kept are ones that have some sort of emotional meaning to me."


Do Aur Do Pyaar, Vidya Balan's latest outing, also features Ileana D'Cruz, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in pivotal roles. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the film released in theaters on April 19, 2024.
