Gerhard Erasmus, the Namibian skipper, says that they bowled better than yesterday and they would have taken 135 at the hal;f way mark. They needed a partnership to go deep but it was not to be. Adds that his wicket changed the match a little but they wanted to deep into this innings. On going to Australia, Erasmus says that it is going to be exciting twelve months for them and it will be challenging as well. Namibia, on the other hand, were brilliant with the ball keeping the Irish in check but when they came out to bat, they were blown away by the bowlers from Ireland. They were made to dance to their tunes and courtesy some poor shots, were shot out for just 108. Only Gerhard Erasmus stood out for them with a fifty but could not continue. The day did not start on the best note for the Irish as they were bundled out for a paltry score of 135. They lost wickets in a heap and they have Andrew Balbirnie to thank for getting them to that score. But then, the bowlers did their job and restricted Namibia to 108.

Excellent bowling performance from Irish! They have managed to defend a paltry total and they will finish third in the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers. They had their backs to the wall after the first innings but their bowlers were right on the money. They bowled excellent lines and lengths and gave the Namibians no chance. They should be very happy with their performance.
