Arsenal map out Eberechi Eze transfer 'plan' after Ethan Nwaneri update

Arsenal have been active in this summer transfer window, completing the signings of three players so far.

The Gunners are expected to complete their fourth piece of incoming transfer business with the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea. The 23-year-old has agreed to personal terms and signed a five-year contract with Arsenal, in a deal valued at around £50 million including add-ons.

After then, Arsenal will still have until September 1 to complete more deals. Signing a striker is also among the priorities this summer.

Gunners 'structure' Eberechi Eze deal

According to Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, Arsenal prefer to negotiate the terms of a deal for Eberechi Eze rather than triggering his £68m release clause. The 27-year-old midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The report states that the Gunners are still in contact with Eze’s representatives as they seek a solution. It’s also said that aldeal for Madueke won’t affect Arsenal’s pursuit of the Crystal Palacestar.




Ethan Nwaneri update

Romano has also provided an update on the contract situation ofEthan Nwaneri. He claims Arsenal have held positive talks with the youngster's camp regarding a new deal.

The 18-year-old midfielder, whose current deal at the Emirates Stadiumruns until next year, has recently been linked with a surprising move to Chelsea.

The report states that the Gunners have outlined a clear plan for Nwaneri withinMikel Arteta’sproject, emphasizing their trust in his future role.

Arsenal’s management is said to be increasingly confident that an agreement with the teenager will be reached 'very soon.'
