Jurassic Roar! Scarlett Johansson's World Rebirth Earns Rs 43 Crore in Just 4 Days

Scarlett Johansson’s sci-fi survival thriller Jurassic World: Rebirth continues to dominate the box office, both in India and globally. The latest chapter in the Jurassic Park franchise has passed the crucial Monday test in India, collecting ₹4.25 crore on its fourth day, bringing the total to a staggering ₹43.25 crore.
A Roaring Start in India
The film had a stellar weekend, earning ₹9.25 crore on Friday, ₹13.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹16.25 crore on Sunday. With such momentum, Jurassic World: Rebirth is expected to cross the ₹50 crore mark by Wednesday. The film was released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu across India, with the English version accounting for the largest share of box office collections.
It has clearly outpaced its domestic competitors, including Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, Brad Pitt’s F1, and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par.

High-Stakes Dino Thriller
Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film features a star-studded cast including Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein alongside Johansson. The plot follows a team of mercenaries and scientists on a dangerous expedition to a dinosaur-infested island. Their mission: to extract DNA from three powerful prehistoric species a Mosasaurus, Titanosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus — for a potential medical breakthrough, while also rescuing a stranded family. What begins as a scientific quest quickly spirals into a fight for survival.
Scarlett Johansson Breaks Box Office Record
Following the film’s global success, The Independent has reported that Scarlett Johansson is now the highest-grossing actor in global box office history — a title cemented by the success of Jurassic World: Rebirth.
The film has already outperformed its predecessor, Jurassic World: Dominion, making it the franchise’s highest Indian opener to date.
