'Andaz Apna Apna 2' Confirmed With Aamir, SRK & Salman Khan? "The Three Of Us Are…"
Aamir Khan's recently released film, Sitaare Zameen Par, is receiving immense love from the audience, ruling the box office numbers. The movie has been receiving widespread praise across the nation for its storyline.
Recently, Aamir Khan talked about his upcoming projects in an interview and shared some good news related to the 1994 cult classic, Andaz Apna Apna,
Along with this, the actor also discussed the possibilities of collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the future.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Aamir Khan confirmed Andaz Apna Apna 2. A fan asked him if there is any update on the film, the actor answered, “As we speak, Raj Santoshi is working on a draft of the script. So, if all goes well and turns out well, then we might get to see a sequel.”
Andaz Apna Apnastarred Aamir alongside Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Raveena Tandon. The film didn’t perform well during its initial theatrical run, but it gained immense popularity over the years and went on to achieve cult-classic status.
Its quirky humour, memorable characters, and iconic dialogues have contributed to its long-standing fanbase, many of whom have been eagerly waiting for a follow-up.
It has been over three decades since the three Khans of Bollywood — Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan — have been ruling the film industry. Over the years, the trio has seen fallouts and friendships, hits and flops, and all of these have further strengthened the bond between them. And we, as fans, have always wished to see them together in a film.
Once, SRK even joked about it and said, “We three are too expensive to be cast in a film.” Deep down, we know it is true. But what if our manifestations come true? Well, we know there has been no news about these three biggies working in a film together but, recently, Aamir said he, Salman, and Shah Rukh want to work together in a film but aren't getting the right script.
"What I can say at this point is the three of us are very keen to do a film together. The right material, the right script needs to come our way. If and when that comes, we will definitely do a film together. Let's hope,” said the Sitaare Zameen Par actor.
Aamir was further asked to pick a genre he wishes to do with Salman and Shah Rukh Khan. Aamir asked the audience to share their thoughts, resulting in comedy. He then declared, “Comedy is the genre people would want us to do.”
Now that one of the Khans has confirmed that they want to work together, we are hoping that it happens soon. Fingers crossed!
