BPSC AE Revised Exam Schedule: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the revised schedule of the written examination related to the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) posts. This exam is being conducted for appointment in various departments of the Government of Bihar. Candidates who had applied for this can now download it by visiting the official website.

This recruitment exam is being conducted to fill a total of 1024 Assistant Engineer posts in various departments of the Government of Bihar. Out of these, 984 posts have been set for Assistant Engineer (Civil), 36 posts for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), and 4 posts for Assistant Engineer (Electrical).

Now the exam will be held on this day.

According to the notification issued by the Commission, the written examination for Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) posts will now be conducted in two shifts on 17, 18, and 19 July 2025. From 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Earlier, this exam was scheduled on 5th, 6th, and 7th July 2025, which has now been revised. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 1024 Assistant Engineer posts.

Exam Pattern and Qualifying Conditions
The written exam will have a total of six papers, out of which four papers will be compulsory and two papers will be optional. The compulsory papers include General English, General Hindi, General Studies and General Engineering Science. All these papers will be objective type. At the same time, two optional papers will also be objective, which will vary depending on the specialization of the candidates according to Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Additionally, the papers of General English and General Hindi will be only qualifying criteria, in which the candidates must get a minimum of 30 marks in each subject. If a candidate does not obtain the minimum prescribed marks in both these papers, his/her other papers will not be evaluated.
