SSC CHSL 2025 Application Process
The application process for SSC CHSL 2025 will be completely online. Candidates have to register by visiting the official website ssc.gov.in. The application process is likely to start from 23 June 2025. Interested candidates can apply for the government job recruitment exam till 1 August 2025. The application fee is Rs 100 for general category, while there is no fee for SC/ST, women and Divyang candidates.

Which posts will be recruited under SSC?
The total number of vacancies for SSC CHSL 2025 has not been announced yet. But based on previous years, it is estimated that about 4000-5000 posts can be recruited. These vacancies are for these posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations:

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility conditions for SSC CHSL 2025 have been fixed:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 12th class (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. Mathematics subject may be mandatory for some posts for Data Entry Operators (DEO).
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (as of 1 August 2025). SC/ST are exempted by 5 years, OBC by 3 years and Divyang candidates by 10 years.
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen. In some special cases, citizens of Nepal, Bhutan and other countries may also be eligible.
How will the SSC CHSL Recruitment Exam be conducted?
The selection process of SSC CHSL 2025 is done in 2 stages. The final merit list is prepared based on Tier-1 marks.
Tier-1 (Online Exam): This is an objective (MCQ) exam. In this, questions related to General Intelligence, English, Mathematics, and General Awareness are asked. 1 hour will be given for this exam of 100 marks.
Tier-2 (Skill/Typing Test): Candidates who qualify in Tier-1 are eligible for the Typing Test (for LDC/JSA) or Data Entry Skill Test (for DEO). This is a qualifying exam.
