If you also have an iPhone and you use WhatsApp, then there is good news for you. WhatsApp is now testing a new feature for iOS users, with the help of which it will be easy to run multiple accounts on the same iPhone. Earlier this feature was introduced for Android users, and now this instant messaging app owned by Meta is preparing to bring it to iOS users as well.

What is the new feature?

According to the report of WABetaInfo, the multi-account feature has been seen in the new iOS beta version 25.19.10.74 of WhatsApp. After the arrival of this feature, users will be able to easily run both personal and business accounts on the same device.

How will it work?

A new section, "Account List," will be added to the settings of WhatsApp.

Here, users will be able to see all their signed-in accounts.

It will be easy to identify each account through the profile photo and status.

Users will be able to switch between accounts with one tap, no need to logout, no need to restart the app.

With each account, its separate chat history, settings, notification tone, auto download settings and backup preferences will also be loaded.

How will the notification work?

If you are on the primary account and a message comes on the secondary account, then both the sender's name and the account name will be visible in the notification. As soon as you tap on that notification, WhatsApp will automatically switch to the secondary account and reach that chat directly.

When will this feature be available now?

Currently, this feature is in the development stage and is not even available for beta testers of Apple's TestFlight program. It is expected that in the coming months, it will be rolled out in public beta and then in the stable version.
