The series is set to unfold in eight episodes and will be available in both English and Portuguese, featuring Gabriel Leone, known from "Ferrari," in the titular role.

The teaser trailer for "Senna" gives fans a glimpse into the high-octane world of racing: it captures moments of Senna preparing for a race, his crew tuning the race car, and flashbacks of his life moments reflected on his helmet. The teaser crescendos with his race win and the apt line, "This is unbelievable."

Gabriel Leone shared insights into his portrayal of Senna in a 2023 interview with Collider, expressing the significance of the role and the advanced technology used in production. He hopes the series will help viewers understand why Senna is such an esteemed figure in sports history.

The cast also includes Matt Mella as rival racer Alain Prost, Joe Hurst as photographer Keith Sutton, Kaya Scodelario as Laura, Pâmela Tomé as Xuxa Meneghel, and Alice Wegmann as Lílian de Vasconcelos, among others.
