Rachel Bloom: Death, Let Me Do My Special has set its OTT release date. The stage show, which is going off-broadway and is landing on your screens, is going to keep you entertained. There will be no exploration of the pandemic in Rachel Bloom's new show, which is full of 'raunchy' and escapist content. Rachel Bloom: Death, Let Me Do My Special will be released on Netflix on 15th October 2024.

Plot

According to the official synopsis, the show is clearly not about the specter of death. The concept of Rachel Bloom's new show is raucous and frivolous, and it will in no way address the pandemic or the turbulent events that followed in her personal life. According to the streamer,  “NOTHING will stop Rachel from partying like it’s 2019.”

Rachel Bloom: Death, Let Me Do My Special

 has been directed by Seth Barrish. Along with other American cities, the production has had off-Broadway performances in New York, London, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Early in May, she also brought the show to the Netflix Is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles. As per Deadline, Bloom is represented by WME, Sugar23, and Ginsburg Daniels Kallis. 

Bloom’s other projects

With plans to tour it in 2020, Bloom wrote the show as a musical stand-up in 2019. The tour was postponed due to the pandemic. Among other projects, Bloom has previously appeared in Max's Julia

, Hulu's Reboot, and the Paramount+ version of Frasier. 

The musical comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which aired on the CW for four seasons from 2015 to 2019, is the work for which Bloom is most recognized.
