Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal name their newborn daughter Lara
Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal embraced parenthood earlier this year. Five months after their daughter's birth, the actor has finally revealed her name. In a heartfelt conversation with Amitabh Bachchan on the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Varun got candid about his journey as a father and also ended up revealing what they have named their little bundle of joy. Varun and Natasha had announced the birth of their daughter on June 3; however, the couple neither shared her pics nor revealed her name in the announcement post.
Varun Dhawan is a doting dad, and we could sense it with the tenderness with which he spoke about his daughter during his recent appearance at KBC 16. The actor was at the show to promote his OTT debut series Citadel: Honey Bunny with showrunners Raj and DK.
When host Amitabh Bachchan highlighted how this Diwali must be special for the Dhawan family with goddess Lakshmi herself arriving at their home, Varun shared his fatherhood journey and revealed, "We named her Lara."
The actor added, “I’m still learning to connect with her; it’s just as you said when a baby comes home, everything changes." When Varun quizzed him about parental duties keeping him up at night, Amitabh responded, "Oh, we managed to sleep, but there was always a bit of worry: is everything okay? Back then, a new gadget had come out. You’d place it near the bed, and if the baby made even the slightest noise, it would alert us. It came in handy.”
