The show which ran between 1988 to 1989 was set in Punjab. The plot revolves around two best friends who are also neighbours hailing from two different religious communities Hindu and Sikh. However, their relationship turns sour due to the tense situation in Punjab. The show also starred Virendra Saxena, Alka Amin, Arun Bali and Vineeta Malik among others.
