'He Wasted Me In Small Role' Sanjay Dutt Angry With Lokesh Kanagaraj For Leo? Read More
Sanjay Dutt seems to be playing his cards right in the second phase of his acting career. He has clearly embraced his menacing on-screen image and knows exactly how much audiences enjoy watching him in villainous roles. Fully aware of his appeal as the ‘bad guy,’ Sanjay has been smartly picking projects that let him tap into this persona.
A great example of this was when director Lokesh Kanagaraj roped him in to play a formidable antagonist opposite Thalapathy Vijay in Leo

While fans were expecting a big showdown between him and Vijay, they merely got to see him for not more than 15 minutes in the movie. Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt recently attended KD’s trailer launch event, where he shared his thoughts about his role in Leo
He said, “I respect Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, they are my seniors. I look up to them and learn from them. I have worked with Rajinikanth in multiple movies. He is the most humble person. I also loved working with Thalapathy Vijay.”
Sanjay added, “I am angry at Lokesh because he did not give me a big role. He wasted me.”
"Lokesh wasted me in #Leo. I am very angry on him. He wasted me. I expected Leo to be on the level of Kaithi and Vikram, but it ended up as a big disaster."

His tone might have been sarcastic, but social media users know that he was right.
One user commented, “Hence too many cooks spoils the broth. If u r keeping too many stars, U can't accommodate all of them in 3hr movie. Hopefully Coolie is cooked properly ....else Lokesh Kanakaraj will be cooked ....”

Another user commented, “Leo was made just to mint money using LCU hype which was forced into the script . kaithi was the film that was made with full passion towards the cinema .”

One user reacted, “This movie looked so good, music so good but lacked a strong story and the characterisation. Wasted potentials, wasted screen times.”

In the film Leo, Sanjay Dutt played Vijay’s father, Harold Das, who has to conspire against his own son.
The film went on to become a huge success and was a part of LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe), but it looks like Vijay won’t be able to act in the franchise because he has left acting to become a full-time politician.
