'Just Like Sushant Singh Rajput…' Amaal Malik On Bollywood's Conspiracy Against Kartik Aryan

Singer and composer Amaal Malik has made some big revelations about the dark side of the Bollywood industry.

In a recent interview, Amaal Malik claimed that many insiders are conspiring against Kartik Aaryan and are planning for his downfall.

While talking to Mirchi Plus, Amaal stated, “The public has understood the reality of this industry… itni dark hai ki logo ki life chali gayi. Sushant Singh Rajput nahi handle kar paaye. Jo bhi unke saath hua

, some blame it as murder, some blame it as suicide. Jo bhi ho, aadmi toh chala gaya na (The public has understood the reality of this industry… it’s so dark that people have lost their lives. Sushant Singh Rajput couldn’t handle it. Whatever happened with him, some call it murder, some call it suicide, but whatever it was, at the end of the day, a life was lost, right?).”

He added, “Iss industry ne hi kuch kiya hai unke mind pe ya unke soul pe. Ya logon ne saath main unko demoralise kiya. Yeh industry aisi jagah hai. Jab voh baat saamne aayi, common man ka sentiment against Bollywood hatt gaya… They said, ‘Screw these guys. Yeh log gande log hain (It’s this industry that did something to his mind or his soul. Or maybe the people around him demoralised him. This industry is that kind of place. When that incident came to light, the common man’s sentiment completely turned against Bollywood… They said, Screw these guys. These people are awful).”

About Kartik Aryan, Amaal said, “Publicly kabhi industry ki band nahi baji… Sushant Singh Rajput ki death ne inn logo ka sab cheen liya. Deserving bhi hai, they deserve to see this downfall. Acche aadmi ke saath galat hua. Aaj aap dekho, vohi cheezein, indirectly ya directly Kartik Aaryan ke saath karne ka bhi try karte hain log. Voh bhi unhi problems se joojh ke, dance karte hue nikla hai, smile karte hue

(The industry had never been publicly exposed like this… Sushant Singh Rajput’s death took everything away from these people. And honestly, they deserve it, they deserve to witness this downfall. A good man was wronged. Even today, you can see that people are trying to do the same things, either directly or indirectly, to Kartik Aaryan. But he’s facing those challenges too, fighting through them, dancing, and smiling through it all).”

Amaal concluded by saying, “But uske peeche uske mummy, papa sab saath hain to support and guide him. He’s also a newcomer who has come in, done his bit, usko bhi 100 log hatane ke firaaq main hain. Power play karte hain. Sab kuch karte hain bade bade producers, actors (But behind him, he has his parents standing strong to support and guide him. He’s also a newcomer who came into the industry and worked hard to make his place. Even he has hundreds of people trying to pull him down. There’s constant power play here. Big producers, big actors, they all play their games and do everything they can).”

On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, at the age of 34. The postmortem cited asphyxia caused by hanging as the reason for his death, with no suicide note or evidence of foul play found at the scene.

However, his passing triggered a nationwide storm, sparking intense outrage. Many pointed fingers at Bollywood, accusing the industry of pushing the actor towards emotional and psychological distress.
