TVS iQube ST launched in India at Rs 1.55 lakh: Gets new base variant
TVS motor company today finally launched the TVS iQube ST in the Indian market. The iQube ST was announced back in May 2022 and alongside the ST, the company has also launched a new affordable variant with a 2.2 kWh battery pack which is priced at Rs 95,000. The company said that it’s ready to deliver the new variants of the TVS iQube to customers, starting today.
The iQube ST is available in two battery pack options - a 3.4 kWh battery pack priced at Rs 1.55 lakh and a bigger 5.1 kWh - the biggest battery of any electric scooter on sale in India today. This variant is priced at Rs 1.85 lakh and it doesn’t qualify for subsidies under the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme. The company also said that all the customers who had pre-booked the iQube ST before July 15, 2022, and have held on to their order will additionally grant a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000.
In terms of features , the ST variants get a 7-inch full-colour TFT touchscreen, 118 plus connected features, Enabled with Voice Assist and Alexa skillset, TPMS, 32 litres under seat storage space and more. The ST with a 3.4 kWh battery pack has a claimed range of 100 km, a top speed of 75 kph and a charging time of 2.50 hours (0-80%).
The top-of-the-line ST with a 5.1 kWh battery has a claimed range of 150 km, top speed of 82 kph and can be charged from 0-80 % in 4.18 hours. Both variants are offered with Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte, and Starlight Blue colour options. The base variant with 2.2 kWh gets a 5.0-inch digital cluster, Vehicle crash and tow alert, Turn-by-turn navigation, 30 litres of seat storage space and a Top speed of 75 kmph.
