Dengue- Malaria in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi government eradicated the deadly disease from the state, this season just one person died

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said in the Vidhan Sabha on Friday that from January 1, 2022, to September 13, 2022, there was only one dengue death in the state and no malaria patient died during this period. Samajwadi Party (SP) member Manoj Kumar Pandey had asked a short-listed starred question during the Question Hour on the fifth day of the monsoon session on Friday, in a written answer to which the Pathak handling the health department gave this information.

Pandey had asked that at present infectious diseases like dengue, malaria, and viral are spreading very fast, so till 13 September 2022, cases of dengue and infectious diseases have been reported in the state and how many of them have died. . Giving a comprehensive account of the preparedness of the government, the Deputy Chief Minister said that for effective control of communicable diseases and meningitis, communicable disease control and data campaign is organized in the state three times a year (in April, July, and October).

He informed that 905 dengue and 2149 malaria patients were reported during the above period and out of these only one death was reported from dengue and not a single death due to malaria. It is noteworthy that the SP members walked out of the house as soon as the session started in the morning, but Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana gave the arrangement that the answers to all the starred, unstarred questions have been uploaded on the portal of the assembly, so they will be considered answered. However, in the absence of the original questioner, he did not give a chance to the other members for supplementary questions.
