Gojo & Geto's Voice Actors Urge Fans To Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Compilation Film In Theatre: 'This Film Is Not Just A Simple Retelling Of The TV Series'

The Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death compilation film opened in Japanese theaters on May 30.
The anime’s official X account shared special comments from the voice actors of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, urging fans to experience the film on the big screen.
Yuichi Nakamura, who voices Satoru Gojo, expressed his enthusiasm over the theatrical release, saying the anime arc was always meant to be more than a TV broadcast.
“This work is packed with so much energy, it would be a waste to leave it just as a TV series. Ever since I saw it airing, I kept thinking, ‘Even if it’s just as an event screening, I hope we can see this in theaters.’ That goes not just for Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, but for the developments to come as well—I think they’ll surpass everyone’s expectations. Honestly, I’m starting to feel like the whole series should just be made into movies (laughs). This time it’s just Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, but I’m truly happy it’s being screened in theaters. You won’t regret watching it, so please go see it on the big screen!
Takahiro Sakurai, who voices Suguru Geto, commented that the film offers a deeper emotional experience compared to the TV version.
“Although it’s labeled a ‘compilation,’ this film is not just a simple retelling of the TV series. I believe you’ll be able to experience the story more deeply, as if you’re seeing it through the characters’ own eyes. Hidden Inventory / Premature Death is an important chapter that portrays their youth. Please be sure to watch it in theaters.
Character visuals of Gojo and Geto were also revealed.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death compilation film also features a brand new Juju Stroll (Juju Sanpo) mini anime/short.
This Juju Stroll will feature Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 aired from July 6 to Dec 28, 2023. It ran for two continuous cours and adapted the manga’s “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident” story arcs.
