Jujutsu Kaisen Compilation Movie Content Leaks Online; Staff Warns Of Harsh Legal Consequences
The official X account of Jujutsu Kaisen anime issued a statement regarding the online circulation of illegally recorded images and video footage from the ending of the currently screening JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie.
The post, which was put out on June 5, 2025, specified that unauthorized recording violates the Law for Prevention of Unauthorized Recording of Films, also known as the Film Piracy Prevention Law.
It further noted that uploading such illicit recordings to platforms including X, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook constitutes copyright infringement.

This warning comes after several stills from the movie’s ending sequence began circulating on X and other platforms.
According to the announcement by the official account, individuals found guilty of copyright infringement under the Film Piracy Prevention Law or the Copyright Act could face severe penalties. These may include imprisonment for up to 10 years, a fine of up to 10 million yen (approximately USD 64,000), or both.
The representatives for the anime urged audiences to refrain from any unauthorized recording, posting, or sharing of the movie’s content.

The illegally recorded images and video footage of the ending of the current screening of “JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie” has been found on the internet. Filming a movie inside a theater is a crime under the Law for Prevention of Unauthorized Recording of Films (Film Piracy Prevention Law).
In addition, uploading such unauthorized recordings to platforms like X, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook constitutes copyright infringement.
If copyright infringement occurs in violation of the Film Piracy Prevention Law or the Copyright Act, penalties may include up to 10 years imprisonment, or a fine of up to 10 million yen, or both.
