2019 Audi A6 India Launch on October 24, 2019

Audi India will launch the 2019 Audi A6 sedan on October 24, 2019, in the country. Being expected to be introduced in petrol fuel trim only, next-gen Audi A6 will be the German luxury brand's first all-new model launch in the Indian market in over a year. It will at loggerheads with BMW 5-Series and Jaguar XF in India.

The new Audi A6 will be bigger in size than its predecessor while flaunting the company's latest design language. The styling will be more aggressive with the signature Audi front grille and angular LED headlamps with DRLs. However, the front grille will be huge in size while the sedan will ride on newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.

The cabin will feature Audi's new MMI system with dual touchscreens for infotainment and in-car functions. For those asking, the 2019 A6 will be the first Audi car to debut this feature in the Indian market.

Other features will include Virtual Cockpit, all-digital instrument cluster, a B&O audio system, powered front seats with memory function for the driver, four-zone auto climate control, a sunroof and a hands-free parking function as standard.

Mechanically, the new-gen Audi A6 will be offered in a single 45TFSI trim with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which will develop top power of 245bhp and peak torque of 370Nm. The engine will be linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission as standard.

The new-gen Audi A6 price is expected to start from Rs 60 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) which is nearly Rs 10 Lakh more than the current model of A6 as it has a sticker price of Rs 50.01 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
