Hyundai Santro Prices Now Start at INR 4.15 lakh in India
Hyundai has rearranged its most popular Santro line-up via replacing the standard Era and D-Lite variants through an Era Executive variant. Currently, these Santro variants attract a price of INR 3.90 lakh and INR 4.25 lakh, while the Era Executive trim is introduced at a price of INR 4.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) that means INR 25,000 bump within the beginning price of hatchback range of Hyundai. Though, the mid and top-spec variants price remain unchanged.
In terms of pricing and features, the Hyundai Santro Era Executive variant stays in between Era and D-Lite trims. The car gets basics such as manual air-conditioner, front power windows and body-coloured bumpers that glare omissions on D-Lite. Though, this new variant misses out a few Santor Era trim features like rear AC vents and front power outlet.

Power steering, EBD, ABS and driver airbag are some of the standard offerings available in the Santro line-up. This list excludes the essentials, such rear parking sensors (only on top-spec variant Asta), speed alert system and seat belt reminder, all these features have become mandatory on new cars.

In order to make Hyundai Santro much competitive, the carmaker made minor updations in the mid variants as well. The petrol and CNG versions of Magna gets a 2-DIN audio system of AMT counterpart as well as a multi-function steering wheel. Besides, safety features of the top-spec Asta include a passenger-side airbag, rear parking camera, load limiters and front seatbelt pre-tensioners. These features are also available on Sportz AMT trim.
In terms of specs, the Hyundai Santro remains the same. The hatch comes with a 1.1-litre engine that generates a power of 59hp on CNG and 69hp over petrol. The engine is paired to a five-speed manual transmission and optional AMT gearbox. The Hyundai Santro competes with the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R in the market.
