Watch: Prasidh Krishna bags Harry Brook, shattered batter's hope at 99

The English batting star Harry Brook no doubt has gotten a number of chances. Last day in the final over, he was almost dismissed, but it was a no-ball from Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah got him twice, but Yashasvi Jaiswal dropped him in both. Prasidh Krishna, who actually had a tough outing on Day 2, bagged Brook with a short ball, unfortunately, when the rookie was batting at 99 (112 balls).

And for the first time in Brook's career, he failed to get the three-digit mark after reaching the 90s. However, this is not the first time Krishna has stopped a player from reaching the milestone. Last time, when Skiddy faced Smith, he dismissed Steve Smith for 33 runs at Sydney, while his total Test runs tallied 9,995.

Coming back to the match, Prasidh has been plotting against Brook. At first he managed two runs, and then he tried to pull it but didn't get the elevation. Shardul Thakur at the deep backward square leg took an easy catch as Brook was left frustrated, tossing up the bat in dismay.

India showcased awful fielding throughout

Multiple big scores could have been resisted had the fielding been better from India's side. For someone who has witnessed Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane at the slip cordons for over a decade, probably smacking their heads in despair after watching Yashasvi Jaiswal struggling miserably to hold the ball. Even Ravindra Jadeja, the celebrated fielder, dropped Ben Duckett on 15, who later added 62 runs before leaving.

Never mind, the huge pile of runs India put on the board has already been reached by the English batters. Kudos to Chris Woakes, who amassed over 2000 Test runs today and had Brydon Carse on his side battling until Sir toppled the latter's bails.
