The former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was seen celebrating his birthday with a friend and surrounded by the latter's family. As per reports, the friend is likely to be linked with Dhoni's stadium. Dhoni was seen surrounded by the family members, clicking photos with them, cutting cake and feeding the friend.

While the retirement rumors are still heavy enough, the 43-year-old MS Dhoni is still stunning his fans with the glove work if not with the bat. MS Dhoni reaffirmed his legendary status behind the stumps, achieving a historic milestone on May 7 at Eden Gardens. Earlier in April, Dhoni had already notched up the landmark through a combination of stumping, catch, and a run‑out in the encounter with Lucknow Super Giants, further showcasing his enduring excellence. His performance drew praise from greats such as Michael Clarke, who called Dhoni “still the best wicket-keeper in the world.”

 

On the flipside, CSK endured an unprecedented slump. The five-time champions found themselves eliminated first from playoff contention, sinking to last place with just four wins from 14 games. A dreadful Chepauk performance—managing only 103/9 against Kolkata—marked their lowest home total ever, signaling deeper issues in their batting lineup.
