Operation Rising Lion: Photos of the sites struck by Israel

Israel on June 13,launched Operation Rising Lion which saw Israeli jets strike against Iranian nuclear facilities and also its biggest gas field, South Pars. the strike. Associated Press analysed the images released by Planet Labs PBC showed damages to two western Iranian missile bases– Tabriz and Kermanshah.

Israeli military claimed that they had struck 200 sites in Iran on Friday.

The images also showed extensive damages to other sites like Fordow fuel enrichment plant and Piranshahr nuclear facility at Islamic Revolutionary Guards facility at Ghadir sites.

Images taken by MAXAR technologies of the Nantaz nuclear enrichment facility which is south west of the Tehran the capital city of Iran show damages to multiple buildings. It was reported that Iran had enriched uranium to 60% purity which is a short technical step away from 90% which is weapons grade purity. Experts have said that some buildings that supplied power to the facility were also destroyed in the strike.

Israeli strikes were reported in this area but Iran has not confirmed any damages to the facility.
