Jaya Ahsan to star in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's upcoming Bengali film.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is all set to make a comeback to directing Bengali cinema after a decade. Following his ventures in Hindi cinema with films like Pink, Lost, and the recent Kadak Singh, Aniruddha is back with his upcoming project titled Dear Maa. The film features Jaya Ahsan in the lead role, with Chandan Roy Sanyal portraying her husband and Saswata Chatterjee in a pivotal role.

The storyline revolves around the bond between parents and children within a nuclear family. It narrates the journey of a mother as she navigates the challenges of raising her daughter.
