Hero Image
The groom's mother, Nita Ambani, has gloriously shined throughout Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. Leaving fashion enthusiasts scurrying to take detailed notes, she aced all her traditional looks, looking splendid in everything from six-yard saris to flared lehengas. Recently, the family hosted a Mata ki Chowki puja, where Nita Ambani stole the show in a traditional red sari paired with an iconic Navratna choker.

A splendid traditional red sari

For the occasion, Nita Ambani opted for a traditional red sari designed by Anuradha Vakil. This Ghar Chola sari, a conventional Gujarati garment, is renowned for its vibrant colors and intricate embroidered patterns. The elegant six yards featured silver and gold zari work, enhanced by Bandhani detailing. The pallu boasted box designs filled with nakshi work in white threads. Completing her outfit was a heavy bejeweled blouse, making for a true masterpiece.

The iconic Navratna choker

Her Navratna choker, encrusted with nine precious gemstones including sapphire, emerald, diamond, and ruby, was the highlight of the night. She paired it with multi-colored jhumkas featuring matching gem drops. Amplifying the look, she wore a statement polki ring and red bangles. Nita Ambani’s soft glam makeup included nude-toned lipstick, kohl-rimmed eyes, and a red bindi. Her bun was adorned with a diamond brooch featuring a unique Ganesh motif, surrounded by beautiful pearl drops.

Gujarati traditional outfits

Nita Ambani is known for her love of Gujarati traditional outfits. For the mosalu-garba night, she slipped into a multi-colored Gujarati-printed ghagra-choli from the House of Torani. This ensemble featured a sweetheart neckline and was adorned with floral-heart-shaped embroidery. She teamed it with a butterfly-shaped ruby-encrusted necklace, which covered her entire neckline, adding a unique touch of art to her outfit.

Nita Ambani’s impeccable fashion sense during these pre-wedding festivities has once again solidified her status as a style icon, showcasing the elegance and richness of traditional Indian attire.
