PSUs Unite for Wellness
In a powerful display of unity and wellness, the India Tourism Development Corporation ( ITDC ), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, marked the International Day of Yoga 2025 with a rejuvenating yoga session at The Ashok, New Delhi. Organised in collaboration with the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), the session brought together over 100 participants, including representatives from 25 Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), officials from the Ministry of Finance’s Department of Public Enterprises, and esteemed instructors from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY).
Embracing the global theme, ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’, the event went beyond being a ceremonial observance—it became a shared space of reflection, breathwork, and mindfulness that transcended organisational boundaries. It reaffirmed the growing recognition that wellness is not just an individual pursuit but a collective responsibility.
Senior leadership from across the public sector spectrum attended the session, with Chairpersons, Managing Directors, and senior officials from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), Cement Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIL), Electronics Corporation of India Ltd. (ECIL), National Divyangjan Finance & Development Corporation (NDFC), National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), ITI Ltd., National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), NBCC (India) Ltd., and more marking their presence. NHPC’s participation stood out for embodying the link between environmental consciousness and holistic health, echoing the day’s theme of interconnected well-being.

“This initiative embodies the ‘whole of CPSE approach,’ where all Central Public Sector Enterprises unite in pursuit of a shared wellness objective. By integrating Yoga into our institutional ethos, we’re not only nurturing healthier individuals but also contributing to a more resilient and mindful nation.”Acknowledging the partners, she extended thanks to SCOPE and MDNIY, Ministry of AYUSH, for making the event a success.
