Every year, the festival of Dussehra is celebrated with grandeur and devotion across India, symbolizing the eternal truth that no matter how formidable the obstacles, righteousness and goodness will always triumph over evil. The burning of Ravana ’s effigies and the victory of Lord Ram serve as a timeless reminder that courage, truth, and perseverance ultimately prevail, offering hope to millions navigating their own battles in life. Beyond its religious significance, Dussehra inspires people to rise above negativity, stay rooted in their values, and channel inner strength to face life’s challenges with resilience and positivity.

Amidst these celebrations, popular actor Aarya Babbar , who plays a pivotal role in Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, reflects on the deeper meaning of the festival. For him, Dussehra is not just about the symbolic victory of good over evil—it is a lesson he carries into both his personal and professional journey. Aarya shares how the festival’s message encourages him to overcome struggles, stay true to his principles in the entertainment industry, and find light even in testing times. As he opens up, his stories highlight how the essence of Dussehra continues to guide and inspire him every day.

Aarya Babbar, who essays the role of Kalikant Thakur in Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah , said, “There is no denying that evil exists in the world, but I firmly believe there is light at the end of every dark tunnel. There is hope that justice will prevail, that negativity will fade, and goodness will endure. As we celebrate Dussehra, the triumph of Lord Ram over Ravana, it reminds us to overcome our inner demons and strive for righteousness in our lives. It is a time for renewal, reflection, and holding onto the belief that courage and virtue will ultimately win. This year, I had the honour of playing Ravana in Luv Kush Ram Leela in Delhi, which was a deeply enriching experience that connected me even more to the spirit of this festival. I also cherish the festive flavours at home-Jalebi, Kheer, Besan Laddoo, Rabdi, Halwa, Puri, and Chana, made all the more special as it follows Navaratri. Above all, I treasure the time spent with my family during this season."
