Alaya F reveals she was not treated well on some movie sets; says 'Same respect should be given to all'

Alaya F made her acting debut in Bollywood in 2020, and it was never an easy task for her to find her own path in this industry. In a recent interview, Alaya talked about some disparities she faced from her male counterparts and some unpleasant experiences she had to face on set.

In a chat with Puja Talvar on her YouTube channel, the actress opened up about some 'awful experiences' she had while doing some films.
She believes that the people who are there with her on a project don't care about her and never wish anything good for each other. In such situations where any of the actors are not treated nicely, she wants everyone to fend for themselves and handle the situation.

While talking about some shocking experiences she had, the actress emphasized that taking these as a part of the job she could not feel nice. While working on a film, the actor should feel safe, happy, and should be provided with a productive environment. But when the environment feels hostile, she finds it hard to adapt. But now the actress is capable of handling those.

While addressing the gender disparity in cinema, Alaya recollected some of the amazing movie sets she worked on. There have always been not-so-welcoming sets as well. She believes that the industry needs to go a long, long way to attain gender equality.

An immediate change she wishes should happen in the movie industry is the same respect given to all. There are incidents where she was not given the basic respect and was called for a shoot while the other actor used to reach nearly 4 hours later on set.

Alaya is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, ' Srikanth ,' with Rajkummar Rao and Jyotika. The biopic will hit theaters on May 10.
