Cooking is a hobby of mine, and I'll give my best in the kitchen, said Vivian Dsena before entering the Bigg Boss 18 house
Vivian Dsena , one of the prominent faces on the ongoing 18th season of Bigg Boss, is making an impression with his direct approach and unfiltered opinions. Adding to his appeal, his culinary skills have also gained attention, with co-contestants praising his dishes — from cutlets to baigan ka bharta — for being delicious.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Vivian surprised us by revealing his love for cooking, saying, “Cooking is a hobby of mine, and I’ll give my best in the kitchen.”
He also committed to taking on any household duties assigned to him, explaining, “I won’t say no to anything; I’ll participate in everything, including cleaning chores. If I don’t do the washroom, I’ll handle the kitchen or cooking. I’m not going there to sit and chill — Bigg Boss is a place to participate and support each other. I’ve always helped my family and wife at home, and since I’ve lived alone, I know how to handle all the chores.”
Vivian’s background also prepared him for the tasks ahead. He shared “I graduated from a military school, where we had to do all our own cleaning and washing, so this is nothing new for me. If I struggle with any task, I’ll ask for another, but I won’t sit back and say I can’t do it.”
In a recent development, the Sirf Tum actor has been crowned the ‘Time God’ and will now be responsible for assigning house duties to the inmates.
Vivian, who became a household name as RK (Rishabh Kundra) in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and later for Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki opposite Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik. His most recent fiction role was in Udaariyaan. He has also explored the non-fiction genre with shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 8) and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 7). Reflecting on his decision to join Bigg Boss, he told us in an exclusive chat, “I’ve done reality shows like Fear Factor and Jhalak, which were in my comfort zone. I discussed the offer for Bigg Boss 18 with my family and wife, and they encouraged me to step out of that comfort zone. Nothing does that like Bigg Boss. I’ve never watched a single episode of the show, so I’m going in unprepared, ready to face whatever surprises the makers throw my way.”
