The buzz around July 2024 ’s most anticipated film, Bad Newz , is reaching fever pitch. Starring Vicky Kaushal , Triptii Dimri , and Ammy Virk, this film has been the talk of social media since its launch. The trailer promised a hilarious and engaging storyline, and the first song, 'Tauba Tauba,' has already soared to the top of the music charts.

Interestingly, Karan Johar is not just producing this venture but he has also called the shots for one of its songs! Bollywood Hungama has reported that Karan Johar was present throughout the shoot of ' Jaanam ' to ensure that Vicky and Triptii were comfortable during the intimate scenes. The report further quoted a source, "Karan is deeply committed to the safety and security of his actors, and he even stepped behind the camera to co-direct the song." Shot earlier this year, 'Jaanam' is a visual treat, blending passion and love in true Dharma Productions style. The song is set to be a highlight of Bad Newz, encapsulating the essence of romance that the production house is renowned for.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, 'Bad Newz' is a hilarious ride, which talks about heteropaternal superfecundation. Speaking about the project, Vicky had told IANS, “For me, shooting for this film was like being at home because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, the people with whom I was collaborating, had this feel-good thing going with them, plus the script was very good. The concept of the film, I found it to be new, and the kind of humour it has, though I haven’t explored the comedy genre much as an actor.” Speaking about the quirky theme, Vicky added, "For me, it was also something new, and the kind of energy you need to showcase in scenes, I got it from the set. I was working with a family, which mattered because I hadn't done much before in the comedy genre and a lot of things were new for me. So, without thinking much, I surrendered to it."

'Bad Newz' is all set to hit the screens on July 19.
