Kamal Haasan wishes a speedy recovery for Rajinikanth amid hospitalization

Kamal Haasan shared a heartfelt note after his dear friend, superstar Rajinikanth , was hospitalized due to reportedly a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart. Kamal took to his Twitter handle and wished for a speedy recovery for his fellow actor.

“I wish my dear friend, Superstar @rajinikanth, who is hospitalized, a speedy recovery,” Kamal shared on his Twitter account.

On September 30, Rajinikanth was admitted to a hospital in Chennai. In a statement released earlier today, the hospital confirmed that doctors performed a non-surgical procedure to address the issue. ANI recently shared a statement from the Apollo Hospital: “He (Rajinikanth) had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart, which was treated by a non-surgical transcatheter method.” They added, “We would like to let his well-wishers and fans know that the procedure went as planned. Mr. Rajinikanth is stable and doing well. He should be home in two days.”

The 73-year-old actor was hospitalized after experiencing stomach pain. His wife, Latha Rajinikanth , reassured the media that "all is well," but declined to provide further details about his health.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of ‘ Vettaiyan ’ on October 10. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan , Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. He will also collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj for ‘ Coolie .’
