Actor and Roadies gangleader Rhea Chakraborty recently opened up about mentoring young talent on her podcast, sharing a proud moment about former contestant Rishabh Jaiswal. Now a successful television actor, Rishabh was once just a hopeful participant on Roadies , seeking the right direction in his acting career.

“I am doing Roadies now and these really hungry, young ambitious kids participate. In the previous season, there was a guy named Rishabh (Jaiswal). He is a very good-looking boy and wanted to become an actor,” Rhea said. “He was very good and wanted guidance. He wanted to do films. He was getting offers from television. I told him to do TV. I told him to do whatever work he gets because your work will speak for itself. Today he is doing very well.”

Rhea shared how thrilled she is to see Rishabh thriving. “He doesn’t have a day off. He says, ‘Ma’am I haven’t been able to take your calls because I am so busy’. So I am so happy.”

Joining her on the podcast, actor Vikrant Massey added, “Now all the lines have blurred because of OTT,” highlighting how the industry has become more flexible for aspiring actors.

Rishabh Jaiswal, who currently plays Krish Bansal in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai , has also been seen in Kundali Bhagya, Anupamaa, Splitsvilla, and Roadies. Before making his mark on television, he started out as a model and influencer.

“Let’s start from ground zero,” Rishabh previously told Times of India TV. “I started out with my modeling career, then moved into fashion influencing, and then transitioned to reality shows. My first break was Anupamaa. It was a small break but a really good one.”

Rhea’s mentorship story is a reminder of how guidance and persistence can turn raw ambition into success.
