According to an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE on May 15, the Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed that Garrison, who was only 25 years old, died from a gunshot wound to the head. The manner of his death was ruled as suicide.
The report also mentioned that ethanol intoxication, or alcohol poisoning, was a contributing factor in his death. The autopsy revealed that Garrison had a blood alcohol level of .307% based on his iliac blood analysis and .370% based on his vitreous analysis. To put it into perspective, the legal limit for driving in the U.S. is .08%, and anything above .40% is considered potentially fatal.

Garrison, who was the son of Janelle and Kody Brown, was discovered deceased in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona on March 5. The Flagstaff Police Department responded to a report of a death inside the home, and his brother Gabriel, 22, was the one who found him.
The police stated that there was no indication of foul play, and their detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are currently investigating the case. Janelle, Garrison's mother, confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement shared on Instagram. She described him as a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him, and his loss has left a huge hole in their lives. She requested privacy during this difficult time and asked people to join them in honoring Garrison's memory.
