Ravi Teja’s father, Bhupathiraju Rajagopal Raju passes away at 90

Veteran Telugu actor Ravi Teja 's father Bhupathiraju Rajagopal Raju passed away late Monday night (July 15) at their family home in Hyderabad. He was 90.

According to India Today, Rajagopal Raju had been keeping unwell for some time. While the actor hasn’t released a formal statement, sources say he has taken time off from work to be with his family and oversee the final rites.


A man of few words, many values
Ravi Teja’s father was not someone the public often saw. Despite his son’s stardom, Rajagopal Raju kept a quiet profile. Reportedly, he was a retired government pharmacist. He lived a simple, peaceful life in Hyderabad with his wife, Rajya Lakshmi. The couple rarely stepped into the limelight but remained the quiet force behind their children.



Heartbreak that returns
The loss is even more painful for the family because it brings back memories of a past tragedy. Ravi Teja’s younger brother, Bharath Raju, died in a car accident a few years ago. Now, with the passing of their father, the family finds itself once again surrounded by grief.
