Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have announced that they are expecting their first child after 3.5 years of marriage. On Wednesday, the couple took to social media to share the happy news with their fans. The couple tied the knot on November 15, 2021, after years of dating, in a traditional Hindu wedding at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh.

In a joint post, the parents-to-be shared a template that read 'Baby on the way.' In the caption, they simply wrote, "Elated."

The couple worked together in the 2014 film CityLights. They also shared screen space in a short film Samjhana.

They tied the knot in 2021, but their love story first started in 2010. Rajkummar and Patralekhaa met each other for the first time on their way to Pune as they were traveling in the same car.'
Sharing the wedding photos on their Instagram handle, the couple wrote, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family.
