After nearly a year of speculation, Hikuelo finally arrived on WWE televisionjust in time to shake up the fractured Bloodline storyline. The towering 6'8" enforcer, a member of the famed Tongan wrestling dynasty and brother of Tama Tonga, made his in-ring debut in a dark match at this week’s SmackDown taping.

It’s a move fans have anticipated since Hikuleo was signed last summer, especially given the ongoing Bloodline civil war that continues to redefine the power dynamics within the Anoa’i-Fatu family tree.

In absence of Roman Reigns' Bloodline, Solo Sikoa has been building something dangerous in Reigns’ absence. With Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa sidelined due to injuries, Sikoa aligned himself with JC Mateo (formerly Jeff Cobb) to maintain his grip on the “New Bloodline.” However, everything changed when Jacob Fatu, the United States Champion and most fearsome member of Solo’s faction, betrayed him at Money in the Bank.

Where Does Hikuleo Fit In Bloodline family war?

This betrayal has left Solo Sikoa exposed and possibly in need of new firepower. Enter Hikuleo. There are two primary directions WWE could take with Hikuleo's debut, each with major implications for the ongoing Bloodline saga:

Option 1: Solo’s New Right-Hand Man

With Fatu now standing against him, Solo Sikoa needs a powerful ally—and Hikuleo fits the bill perfectly. Bringing Hikuleo into the fold as his new right-hand man could restore the New Bloodline's muscle and give Solo the upper hand in a possible three-on-one assault against the now babyface Fatu.

Debuting Hikuleo this Friday on SmackDown as Sikoa’s newest recruit would be a strong visual message: the Bloodline war is far from over, and Solo’s not backing down. Naming Hikuleo as his enforcer would be a statement of dominance and a declaration of war against Fatu.

Option 2: Hikuleo Sides With Fatu

Alternatively, WWE could opt for a shocker. Hikuleo could appear to support Solo, only to turn on him and align with Fatu in a stunning twist. With Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa still recovering, Fatu is outnumbered. Hikuleo joining forces with the US Champion would instantly balance the feud and establish him as a face in the eyes of the fans.

Hikuleo could initially help Fatu, then double-cross him just moments later. That kind of moment turning heel at the height of a babyface pop would elevate Fatu’s popularity while positioning Hikuleo as a ruthless new player in WWE. It would also deepen Solo Sikoa’s villainous faction, giving them the firepower they need to dominate SmackDown.

A Game-Changing Debut Awaits

Whatever direction WWE chooses, one thing is clear—Hikuleo’s debut has the potential to be a game-changer. Whether he aligns with Solo Sikoa to punish Fatu, or joins the Samoan Werewolf to fight back against the tyranny of the New Bloodline, Hikuleo’s presence will immediately tilt the scale of this family war.
