Bitchat App: People will forget WhatsApp! A chatting app that works without internet is coming, you will not get one or two but many features..

When we talk about messaging apps, WhatsApp comes to mind first, but it may not be the only popular app in the future. This is because Jack Dorsey, former CEO of Twitter, has brought an app that will not require the internet. Dorsey is working on an app called Bitchat, which uses Bluetooth technology.
This app is completely decentralized and works directly from one device to another via Bluetooth. The special thing is that it does not require internet, nor a server, nor a mobile number or email ID.
Due to the limited range of Bluetooth, such an app usually works only up to a distance of about 100 meters. Therefore, it will be more useful in situations like when you are searching for your friends in a crowded place and the mobile network is not working properly.
However, Dorsey says that his app has the ability to work over a longer distance. This app forwards the message through the devices of other people nearby, which increases its range to about 300 meters (or 984 feet).
The message will be received even if you are not online
This app also has the facility of password-secured group chat (called 'rooms'). Apart from this, it supports a technology called 'store and forward', so that even if a user is offline, they can get the message later. It has been said that the WiFi Direct feature will also be added in the upcoming updates, which will further improve the speed and range of the app.
Apart from this, another thing that attracts people's attention is that messaging apps like Meta's WhatsApp and Messenger are made by big tech companies, and they use the personal data of the users.
On the other hand, Bitchat works completely peer-to-peer, i.e., from device to device. In this, any account has to be created, any identity (like number or email) is given, nor any data is collected. Dorsey said that the beta version of this app is now available on TestFlight. At present, it is not known when it will be made available to everyone in a stable version.
