Aadhaar is mandatory for making a new PAN

In the coming time, if someone is thinking of getting a new PAN, then Aadhaar will be mandatory for that. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has made Aadhaar verification mandatory for PAN card applicants from Tuesday. Apart from this, existing PAN holders will have to link their PAN with their Aadhaar number by December 31.

There will be a change in the rules for booking Tatkal train tickets

A big change will be seen in railways from July 1. Aadhaar verification has been made mandatory for Tatkal ticket booking as well. Earlier, people had to face a lot of problems for Tatkal tickets. However, after the change in the new rules, it is believed that it will be easier to get Tatkal tickets.

Apart from this, two-step authentication will be mandatory for all tickets (online or offline) from July 15. Due to which whenever an OTP comes during Tatkal ticket booking, after which the ticket can be booked.

Railways increased the price of tickets

Meanwhile, the Railways has also decided to increase the price of tickets. The Railway Minister has approved the proposal. From July 1, people will have to spend more for railway tickets.

From July 1, fares of non-AC classes in mail and express trains will increase by 1 paisa and fares of all AC classes will increase by 2 paisa per kilometer.

ITR filing date extended

Every year the deadline for filing ITR was July 15. However, the CBDT has also extended the last date for filing income tax returns from July 31 to September 15. This is likely to provide convenience to taxpayers.

Changes in credit card rules too

Changes can also be seen in the rules of credit cards of many banks from July 1. SBI will discontinue the air accident insurance offered on purchasing air tickets using select premium cards such as SBI Elite, Miles Elite and Miles Prime. At the same time, this public sector bank is also expected to introduce a new calculation of minimum due amount or MAD (for monthly bills).

ICICI Bank also made these changes

Let us tell you that ICICI Bank's changes will include revisions in service charges including ATM transactions. That is, the first five transactions from ICICI Bank ATM will be free. After that you will have to pay a fee of Rs 23 per transaction to withdraw cash. However, non-financial transactions will remain free.

Apart from this, if ICICI Bank customers use a non-bank ATM, the number of free transactions is limited to three in metro cities and five in smaller cities and towns. After this, you will have to pay Rs 23 and Rs 8.5 per transaction respectively.
