Patanjali's Big Leap in Education: Ties Up with 3 Major Indian Universities to Promote Yoga, Ayurveda and Indigenous Knowledge

Patanjali University, under the leadership of Acharya Balkrishna, has launched a major educational initiative aimed at reviving India’s traditional knowledge systems. In a move described as more than just a formal agreement, Patanjali has signed MoUs with three prominent universities to collaborate on education, research, and skill development rooted in Indian values.

A Mission for National Rebuilding

Acharya Balkrishna announced that the objective behind this collaboration is “nation rebuilding through indigenous knowledge”. He emphasized that this partnership marks a significant step in the Rishi Kranti, Yoga Kranti, and Shiksha Kranti movements, and is expected to touch millions of lives across the country.

The Collaborating Institutions

The MoUs were signed between Patanjali University

, its research wing Patanjali Research Institute, and the following universities:

  • Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh

  • Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, Chhattisgarh

  • Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh

Areas of Collaboration

These institutions will now work together in multiple areas, including:

  • Education and curriculum development

  • Yoga and Ayurveda research

  • Indian philosophy and traditional knowledge systems

  • Healthcare, skill development, and rural upliftment

Joint training programs, shared resources, and collaborative research will be core parts of the initiative.
