A British court has sentenced Zhenhao Xu, a Chinese PhD student in London, to 24 years in prison for raping 10 women 11 times. The court called the accused a "sexual predator" and said that he used women like "toys".
Zhenhao Xu, a Chinese student doing PhD at University College London, was a serial rapist who made many women his victims. The accused committed the crime with 3 women in London and 7 women in China between 2019 and 2023. He also used to record the video of the entire incident.
When the police arrested the accused, about 9 videos were recovered from him. The police told the court that more people could be victims of this, so the investigation is still going on. He used alcohol and drugs to weaken women.
Despite Zhenhao's disgusting acts, many women have not lodged a complaint with the police. One victim said that she was raped in London in 2021, but she had no idea that she could report it. At the same time, another person told the BBC that Zhou himself had confessed to him that he used to mix drugs in women's drinks at parties. With the help of these drugs, he used to rape women. Due to the intoxication of women, they were not even able to resist it.
The accused Zhenhao Xu was very smart in studies and technically. This is the reason why he used to trap women with his way of talking. Apart from this, dating apps made his work easy. The accused used to meet women through dating apps and then called them to his flat to drink alcohol or study. During this meeting, he used to give them intoxicants. A case was filed against the accused on the basis of the video found on his mobile.
