'Golden Chariot train' will run in South India, these special facilities will be given
New Delhi: On the lines of the world-famous royal train Maharaja (Palace on Wheels), now the 'Golden Chariot train' will also be operated in South India. IRCTC has informed about this on Tuesday. According to IRCTC , Ministry of Railways has tied up with Government of Karnataka for Golden Chariot.
It will be one of the most luxury trains in India. Not only this, this train will also provide sightseeing tour of South India related to history, culture and wild life. According to the information, places like Goa to Bandipur, Mysore, Chikmagalur, Hampi, Bijapur have been included in its route. The Golden Chariot will start from March 2020. Let us tell you that in front of all the states, the Prime Minister has targeted to increase internal tourism.
Minister of State for Railways Suresh Agadi said that the Railways will try to ensure that the fare of this magnificent luxury train of India remains within the reach of the people. Let us tell you that 23 years ago the Palace on Wheels of the big line was prepared. Since then, this train has been very popular among the tourists of the country and the world. The Palace on Wheels is also included in the world's 'Do Before Die' list.
