PTC Web Desk:  The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued a public alert regarding a fake recruitment notice that is currently circulating on social media platforms. The PSEB clarified that the notice, published via a Facebook page named "Job Alerts by Hardeep", is entirely false and unauthorised.

The fraudulent post, shared through the link https://jobalertbyhardeep.com/Punjab-school-education-board-recruitment-2025-2/link, falsely claims that the PSEB is conducting a “direct recruitment” drive offering a monthly salary of Rs 47,600, with the last date to apply listed as June 24, 2025. The board has strongly denied any such recruitment activity.

In a formal notice, the PSEB has stated that it has not issued or authorised any such recruitment advertisement and that the claims made in the circulated post are deliberately misleading, possibly created by malicious individuals or groups to deceive the public.

“The Punjab School Education Board conducts all official recruitments only through its official website or via announcements in recognised newspapers and media outlets,” the statement clarified.

The PSEB has urged citizens to remain cautious and to refrain from trusting or responding to such fake job advertisements. Individuals who may have fallen victim to this scam are advised to report the matter immediately to the Cyber Crime Wing of the Punjab Police.

The Punjab School Education Board has already filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime authorities and has called for legal action against those responsible for this fraudulent activity.

The Chairman of the Punjab School Education Board has appealed to the general public to stay alert, verify any recruitment-related information, and help prevent the spread of such misinformation.
