Saif Ali Khan Got An Advice From Rani Mukerji About Dating Kareena Kapoor & He Still Follows It

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s relationship remains one of the most talked about and admired partnerships of Bollywood. Their love story brought together royalty and stardom, creating a bond that has stood strong in an industry where relationships often don’t last. But before the couple got married, Saif received some unexpected advice from fellow actors, which only added more colour to their journey.

In an earlier interview, Saif shared a conversation he had with Rani Mukerji who was delighted about his relationship with Kareena. She jokingly advised him to view the relationship as “two heroes living under one roof”. Saif admitted that while he understood what she meant at the time, her words make even more sense to him now as he reflects on their lives together.

Kareena also recalled how Akshay Kumar had warned Saif about her early on. During a candid conversation on Twinkle Khanna’s show, she said that Akshay had sensed their growing connection and pulled Saif aside to caution him. According to Kareena, Akshay’s advice came with a playful warning, he told Saif to be careful, saying Kareena and her family were not easy to handle. He hinted that Saif might be taking a risk by getting involved. But Saif, confident and assured, responded that he had already figured her out.

Their romance began in 2008 while working on the film Tashan. Unlike many celebrity couples who keep their personal lives private, Saif and Kareena chose to be open about their relationship from the beginning. That same year, Saif even got Kareena’s name tattooed on his forearm in Hindi, a bold gesture of commitment.

After dating for over five years, the couple got married on October 16, 2012. The wedding was an intimate affair with family and close friends, followed by lavish celebrations in Mumbai and Delhi. Today, Saif and Kareena are proud parents to two sons — Taimur and Jeh, born in 2016 and 2021 respectively, continuing to inspire fans with their strong and stylish family life.
