Rain, snowfall decrease temperature in Himachal
Shimla, Nov 17 The minimum temperature at most places in Himachal Pradesh decreased by a few notches in the last 24 hours due to rains at isolated places and snowfall at some higher reaches, the meteorological department said on Sunday.
The minimum temperatures fell by 1-2 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state, the Met department said.
Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district witnessed 2 cm of snowfall and remained the coldest place in the state at a minimum temperature of 3.1 degrees Celsius, Shimla Meteorological Centre Director Manmohan Singh said.
Manali, Dalhousie and Chamba recorded 5, 2 and 1 mm of rainfall respectively, he said.
