Penne Arabiatta
There are hardly any haters for pasta and with this recipe you will fall in love with pasta again. Penne Arrabiata is a classic preparation of penne pasta in red tomato sauce. It is said that you eat your food not only with your mouth but nose and eyes too, and this dish is a delight for the senses. Prepared using olive oil and basic seasoning, making this dish is easy, quick and you do not need to make any elaborate preparations before hand.
INGREDIENTS
4 tablespoon virgin olive oil
6 cloves garlic
2 teaspoon chilli flakes
1/4 teaspoon oregano
800 gm Italian plum tomato
0 salt as required
0 black pepper as required
1/4 teaspoon red wine vinegar
2 teaspoon sugar
200 gm pasta penne
1 cup water
1 teaspoon butter
1 pieces red bell pepper
2 cubes mozzarella
How to make Penne Arabiatta
Step 1
To prepare this scrumptious treat, first, roast the red bell pepper. Put the bell pepper in a microwave-safe dish and make holes in between the pepper. Now season it with olive oil, salt and roast in the oven for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped garlic cloves to it. Next, add blanched tomatoes and saute it well. Now add oregano, chilli flakes, sugar, pepper and vinegar. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Step 3
While the sauce gets ready, take another pan, add water and pasta and bring it to a boil. Once done, drain the water and add the pasta in the pan with sauce.
Step 4
Once the pasta is cooked properly, turn off the flame. Now, chop the roasted bell pepper. In the meantime, plate the pasta, add mozzarella cheese, chopped red pepper and season the final dish with olive oil and black pepper.
