Every year, the club aces its said theme and entices visitors with stunning displays at their pandals. Hence, it is unsurprising that this year they had continued to do the same with their Vatican City-themed pandals which also commemorate its 50 years Golden Jubilee this year.

West Bengal Fire and Emergency Services Minister and Sreebhumi Sporting Club president Sujit Bose said in a media interview that people have heard about Vatican City in Rome, however, only a few lucky people have travelled abroad to see it. So, the theme will fulfill people’s wish of visiting Vatican City, reported the Times of India.

Speaking about the pandal, he added that it took 60 days to create and complete this pandal with the help of over 100 artisans. Last year, Sreebhumi managed to catch the attention of people with their Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) theme. Earlier the club had also designed a Bahaubali movie-themed pandal which was well appreciated by all who saw it.
