Suicide bid foiled: UP man tries to jump off flyover after wife refuses to return home; saved by cop
AGRA: A 22-year-old man was saved by Agra Police on July 1 when he tried to to jump off a flyover after a dispute with his wife.
The man, a resident of Farrukhabad, had come to Tajgan area of Agra to take his wife back home.
When she refused to go with him, he went to the flyover on the Inner Ring Road and attempted to die by suicide.
A video from the spot has surfaced and is making the rounds on the internet. The footage shows the man sitting on the edge of the Shamshabad flyover while a crowd gathers below, watching and recording the incident.
A policeman is then seen approaching and grabbing the young man from behind, preventing the suicide attempt. The police is probing the incident further.
