Bus driver booked for rash driving in Sambhajinagar

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: An MSRTC driver was booked for alleged rash driving that injured two students. The mishap occurred near the Dahegaon area of Gangapur taluka at around 12:05am on Saturday.

"Two students were riding a bike towards Ahilyanagar when the MSRTC bus dashed into them. Both students were thrown off their bike and received minor injuries," police said. One 19-year-old victim was left with broken teeth in the accident, police said.

Waluj police registered an offence under the BNS section 281 (rash driving) and section 125 (endangering the safety of personal life of others) among other charges.
