HP promotes investment opportunities in Hong Kong

Shimla: Aiming to boost trade and investment ties, an interactive business session between the Himachal Pradesh govt and leading industry representatives in Hong Kong was held at the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong, on Saturday.

The interaction marked a significant step towards expanding industrial collaboration, trade linkages, and investment partnerships between Himachal Pradesh and Hong Kong. The delegation, led by industries minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, also announced the upcoming Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM), inviting Hong Kong-based trade and industry representatives to participate and explore business opportunities in Himachal Pradesh, said an official spokesperson.

The session brought together leading business figures and institutional representatives from India and Hong Kong. Representatives from institutions and companies like HSBC, Hetero Medical, IBA, ICC, SBI, Air India, Chargeurs, Primark, CLP, Johnson Electrics, Gokal and Sons Ltd, and G-Logs Ltd participated in the event.

During the interaction, the delegation gave a brief presentation showcasing Himachal's industrial landscape and investor-friendly policies, emphasising its strategic advantages in manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, tourism, technology, and electric mobility, the spokesperson added.
