Hyderabad shocker: History-sheeter stabbed to death by friends; birthday party ends in murder, 2 arrested
HYDERABAD: A 23-year-old history-sheeter was stabbed to death by his friends during a drunken brawl in Kukatpally early on Monday.
The deceased, Syed Sahid, a resident of Pandit Nehru Nagar in Allapur, was a history-sheeter of Allapur police station. His late father, Wahed Pahelwan, was also a history-sheeter from Borabanda.
According to Kukatpally Inspector P Rajesh, Sahid had gone to Prakash Nagar in Kukatpally on Sunday evening to celebrate the birthday of a friend, Pawan. They were joined by common friends - Sameer, Munna and Sajid - at an open place behind Devishtan Villas in Prakash Nagar.
"They all gathered at an open place in Prakash Nagar for the birthday celebration. Pawan, whose birthday was celebrated along with Sameer, left the place after cutting the cake. Later, Sahid along with Munna and Sajid, consumed liquor," the inspector said.
While drinking, an argument broke out between Sahid and his friends over an unknown issue. During the argument, Munna and Sajid broke beer bottles and stabbed Sahid in the throat. "After attacking him with the broken bottles, the duo bludgeoned him to death with a boulder," the inspector added.
